Customer Journey

We've made it as easy as possible!

We designed the Darley 20 for simplicity and ease, both for you and our installers. There are few options and decisions to make, and only a couple of key moments when your presence on-site would be appreciated. We would love for you to welcome us on Day 1 and send us off on Day 5. On Day 2, you may want to stand on the floor to confirm or adjust the placement of the door and windows. Additionally, it’s helpful if you can be on-site at 11 AM on Day 3 to discuss your electrical needs with the electrician before the cables are roughed in.

First Contact

Please fill out our contact form or give us a call to schedule a cabin viewing. We offer free site inspections for nearby customers and free video inspections for those further away. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Receive Quote

We offer free, no-obligation, fixed, itemized quotes along with available installation date ranges. Our quotes encompass site preparation, including excavation and retaining walls if necessary. Please note that electrical work is not included; most customers choose our recommended electrician. We will coordinate with your selected electrician to ensure seamless integration with our installation schedule.

Revise Quote

You can add or remove itemised products and services, as well as select your preferred options and colors. Door and window placements can be confirmed or adjusted the day before installation.

Go Ahead!

Confirm your preferred installation date range and pay your first invoice, which is 50% of the total. The second invoice, for 40%, will be due two weeks before your installation.

Site Preparation

If your site is not flat, we may require additional days for excavation and to construct retaining walls. If the location has not been confirmed, it would be helpful for you to be present when we arrive.

Location & Orientation

Location Considerations for Optimal Cabin Placement

Our garden sheds can be placed beside or behind your home, often meaning a spot nestled in the backyard where it feels like a natural extension of your outdoor space. Many people choose a quiet corner, with a minimum 900mm offset from the boundary. Access is rarely an issue - each piece of our prefabricated garden sheds are carried by hand, allowing us to weave through narrow side gates and along charming garden paths. If excavation is needed, we bring in a compact excavator with adjustable tracks to fit through tight spaces, so there's minimal disruption. Some prefer the cabin near the house for easy access, while others choose a more private corner further back for a quiet escape.

Cabin Orientation for Maximising Comfort and Utility

Think about orienting your cabin to capture the beauty of the Blue Mountains or to take in your favourite view of the garden. A cabin with a view can help you take a break from your day, look up, and let your mind wander. You may also want to consider how much natural light you’d like inside - some people love a bright, sun-filled space, while others prefer a shaded, cosy retreat. With one or two windows and various placement options, you can create the perfect lighting and atmosphere. Although the front wall is reserved for the large stacker door, there are three placement options for the door to balance sunlight and access.

Some choose to orient the cabin toward the house, creating a sense of connection and flow, while others prefer to position it side-on to embrace the garden. With thoughtful placement, the cabin can also add privacy for you and your neighbours, acting as a natural screen and fostering a sense of calm.

For some, the cabin is a place to unwind, surrounded by the sounds of the garden; for others, it’s a dedicated retreat from the bustle of daily life. No matter where you place it, your cabin becomes a part of the landscape, drawing you outside to enjoy the serenity of your surroundings.
